YOUTH BASKETBALL: Sequim teams win at Spring Hoopfest

PORT ANGELES — Two teams from Sequim won divisions in the Port Angeles Parks and Recreations Spring Hoopfest.

A total of 44 teams from the Olympic Peninsula, Kitsap, Thurston, Whatcom and Pierce counties played in seven divisions.

Sequim girls’ teams won the sixth-grade division and the boys fifth-grade division.

Sequim, first; Port Angeles Apex, second; Bainbridge Roots, third; South Kitsap Elite, fourth, Silverdale Spartans, fifth.
