PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles 12-year-old team won its division title at the 22nd annual Dick Brown Memorial Baseball Tournament, beating the Sequim Cutters 11-0 on Sunday in the championship game at Lincoln Park.
Port Angeles’ Colton Romero threw the first three innings, with every out — nine of them — a strikeout. Blake Sohlberg pitched the final three innings. The Cutters were only able to manage one hit in the game.
Port Angeles’ Romero, Alex Angevine, Tate Alton and Jordan Shumway all had two hits, while Phoenix Flores added a triple.
Edmonds teams dominated all the other age divisions. Winning the 9-year-old, the 10-year-old and 11-year-old divisions were squads from Edmonds.
A total of 20 teams from as far away as Seattle, Everett and Bellevue competed.

• 9-Year-Old Division: Edmonds, first; Mill Creek Mavericks, second; Port Angeles, third; Olympic Crosscutters. Championship game: Edmonds 11, Mill Creek 3.
• 10-Year-Old Division: Edmonds, first; Islanders (Seattle), second; Redmond Rebels, third; Port Angeles, fourth; Everett Baseball Club, fifth. Championship game: Edmonds 1, Islanders 0.
• 11-Year-Old Division: Edmonds, first; West Seattle Steelheads, second; Radiator Whiskey, third; Maltby Redhawks, fourth; Port Angeles, fifth; Mill Creek Mavericks, sixth. Championship game: Edmonds 7, Steelheads 6.
• 12-Year-Old Division: Port Angeles, first; Sequim Cutters, second; Redmond Rebels, third; East County Baseball (Bellingham), fourth; Bellevue Sweets, fifth. Championship game: Port Angeles 11, Sequim Cutters 0.
