UPDATED PREP PLAYOFF SCHEDULE: Games moved to Wednesday and Thursday; officials cross their fingers

Here is an update on the schedule for this week’s prep basketball playoff games. These schedules continue to be tentative as schools deal with heavy snow and difficult travel conditions throughout western Washington.

The Forks boys played Tuesday night against King’s Way Christian in Hoquiam. That is the only game that got played Tuesday.

Today’s Games

Boys Basketball

• Class 2A West Central District III Tournament — Fife at Port Angeles, 7 p.m.

• Class 1A West Central District III Tournament — Port Townsend at Cascade Christian, 5 p.m.

• Class 1B Tri-District Tournament — Lopez at Crescent, 2:30 p.m.

Girls Basketball

• Class 2A West Central District III Tournament — Franklin Pierce at Port Angeles, 5 p.m; Sequim at White River, 5 p.m.

• Class 1A West Central District II Tournament — Seattle Christian at Port Townsend, 6 p.m.

• Class 1B Tri-District Tournament — Rainier Christian vs. Clallam Bay at Crescent High School, 4:15 p.m; Quilcene at Grace Academy, 4 p.m.

Also, Peninsula College has two scheduled games Wednesday at Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon.

Thursday’s Games

Boys Basketball

• Class 2A West Central District III Tournament — Sequim vs. Fife/Port Angeles loser, Curtis High School, 7:45 p.m.

• Class 1B Tri-District Tournament — Rainier Christian/Tulalip winner at Neah Bay, Port Angeles High School, 7 p.m.

Girls Basketball

• Class 1A District 4 Tournament — Forks vs. La Center/Montesano loser, 6 p.m., either at King’s Way Christian or Hoquiam.

• Class 1B Tri-District Tournament — Quilcene/Grace Academy winner at Neah Bay, Port Angeles High School, 5:15 p.m.

Because the Port Townsend girls’ game was pushed back, a Class 1A West Central District III Tournament game between the Chimacum girls and Annie Wright will now be played at Bellarmine High School at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
