JOYCE — The Neah Bay boys and girls both won three-way meets with Crescent and Clallam Bay.
The Neah Bay boys had 69 team points to Crescent’s 40 and Clallam Bay’s 16. The Neah Bay girls had 70 team points to 47 for Clallam Bay and 20 for Crescent.
The Red Devils’ Robert Richardson particularly had a big day, winning three individual sprints and helping the Neah Bay 4×100 relay team take first.
Richardson took first in the 100-meter run with a time of 12.56, first in the 200 meters with a time of 25.78 and first in the 400 meters with a time of 58.71. The Neah Bay 4×100 team (Richardson, Julian Carrick, Anthony Martinez and Malcom Lovik) won with a time of 50.23.

Lovik and Carrick also won multiple events. Lovik won the shot put with a distance of 32 feet, 7 inches and the javelin with a throw of 100-1. Carrick won the high jump with a leap of 5-4 and the long jump with a distance of 17-3.
Neah Bay’s Cayden Smith also won the 300 hurldes in 59.66.
For Crescent, Evan Matumeak won the 1,600 meters in a time of 6:10.30 and eighth-grader Dominiq Sprague won the 3,200 meters in a time of 14:47.35. The Loggers’ Brendan Bergstrom won the discus with a throw of 109-0.
Girls
Neah Bay’s Ryana Moss was a multiple-event winner. Whe took first in the 1,600 meters in a time of 6:42.44 and first in the 300 hurdles in a time of 1:01.76. Shilaily Woodruff of Neah Bay won the 200-meter run (31.58) and won the triple jump (29-8½.)
There was a three-way tie for first in the girls’ long jump Makiah Clark of Crescent and Neah Bay’s Ruth Greene and Laila Greene all jumped 13-0. Clark also won the 100-meter run in 15.69, while Laila Greene won the 800 meters (3:10.34).
Clallam Bay’s Simona Cruz-Lopez, jusst an eighth-grader won, the 400 meters in 1:21.68.

Neah Bay’s Allie Greene won the 3,200 meters in 15:33.99, while her teammate Kianah Cameron won the 100 hurdles in 21.89.
In field events, Clallam Bay’s Jasmine Tinoco won the shot put with a distance of 23-6, while Crescent’s Katelyn Dunavant won the discus with a throw of 65-9 and Clallam Bay’s Abigail Flores took first in the javelin (64-9).
In the girls’ relays, Clallam Bay’s 4×100 team (Lexi Campbell, Kyleigh Richardson, Cruz-Lopez and Madison Pilatti) won with a time of 1:03.05 and the Neah Bay 4×200 team (Cameron, Moss, Laila Greene and Woodruff) won in 2:09.85.
Forks at Pacific League meet
SOUTH BEND — Forks’ Skyler Steffen had a huge day at a six-team Pacific league 2B meet in South Bend late last week.
The Forks boys and girls each took second in the team points.
Steffen won three field events. He took first in the shot put with a distance of 36-11, first in the discus with a throw of 142-7, winning by more than 32 feet, and first in the javelin with a throw of 135.8.
Other Forks winners included Kesia Rowley, who won the girls 400 meters with a time of 1:12.40 and Candida-Rose Sandoval, who won the 300 hurdles in 1:00.10.
The Forks girls’ 4×400 team (LillyAnn Crowell, Kendall Marshall, Emery Damron and Rowley) took first in 5:20.00.
The Forks boys had 115.75 team points, beaten only by Naselle’s 137. The Spartans girls had 111 team points, behind only North Beach’s 136.
