STATE BASKETBALL: Neah Bay makes big comeback to win; Port Angeles falls after losing big lead

SPOKANE — The fourth quarter was a reversal of fortunes for the Neah Bay boys and Port Angeles girls.

Neah Bay trailed by 10 points, 51-41, heading into the final period. The Red Devils went on to win 68-60 by scoring 27 points in the last quarter and holding Tulalip Heritage to nine.

The Red Devils will play Pomeroy in the 1B semifinals at Spokane Arena on Friday at 3:45 p.m.

At the 2A state tournament in Yakima, Port Angeles handled Lynden through the first three quarters and led 41-29 going into the fourth.

But the Lions had a big fourth quarter and came back to win 53-52.

Port Angeles will play East Valley of Spokane on Friday in a loser-out game at 9 a.m.
