SPRINT BOAT: Live Wire team competes in St. John races

Driver Vaughan Trapp and Navigator Matt Denson of Live Wire sprint boat racing based in Sequim competed this weekend at Webb’s Slough outside of St. John, in Whitman County.

Live Wire made it to the final eight in both the 800 and unlimited classes of the jet sprint boat races. Sprint boat racing returns to the Extreme Sports Park west of Port Angeles on July 29-30 and Sept. 9-10.
