SILVERDALE — The Wolves kept putting themselves in a hole and suffered the consequences in Friday night’s Olympic League tilt.
Sequim rallied from 11- and 8-point deficits in the first and second halves but could never surge ahead for a fourth straight win against the league’s 3As.
“It was a pretty big letdown after a big win against Bremerton,” Wolves coach Greg Glasser said.
“We shot poorly from the field and the free throw line. They executed better and shot the ball pretty well from the outside.”
John Textor led the Wolves with 17 points. Trent Gallagher scored a game-high 24 to lead the Trojans.
Sequim (5-3, 5-6) hosts last-place Klahowya (0-8, 2-10) on Tuesday.

SILVERDALE — The Roughriders (5-3, 6-6) claimed their first Olympic League road win in more than a year Friday night.
Antonio Stevenson had 22 points, five assists and three steals for a Port Angeles team that has now won two in a row following a five-game losing streak.
Steve Rogers added 15 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks for the Riders, while Ian Ward scored all nine of his points in the fourth quarter to keep the Eagles at bay.

CLALLAM BAY — Josh Anderson and the Loggers proved to be too much for a young Bruins team in Friday night’s NOL game.
Anderson scored 29 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, leading the Loggers to their first league win in nearly three years (Jan. 19, 2007).
“He’s like a man among boys out there,” Bruins coach Cal Ritter said. “The kids I got are young, but he’s a big kid for anybody.”
Teammate Andrew Trerise had six points and 13 rebounds, while Joel Williams scored 14 for the Loggers (1-1, 3-6).
“It was nice to see them come together and not just beat a team by doing their own thing but doing what we’re trying to accomplish,” Loggers coach Darren Heaward said.
“They really earned that win, and they are working hard for it.”
Kyle Hess was the Bruins’ top scorer with 14 points. Jacob Portnoy added 12 points.
Clallam Bay (0-2, 3-10) hosts Neah Bay on Wednesday. Crescent entertains the Port Angeles JV the same night.
