PORT ANGELES — Registration for the 2010 North Olympic Discovery Marathon and Half-Marathon has been reopened for a short time.
Runners who haven’t signed up had 48 hours counting from Wednesday morning or the first 50 to register.
Potential participants need to be quick because there is a lot of pressure for those 50 spots.

Registration originally was closed Monday when marathon organizers ran out of T-shirts for the event during last weekend.
Organizers had ordered 1,500 T-shirts.
But race director Larry Little had a change of mind.
“We’re being overwhelmed,” Little said. “People are begging us to let them register.”
So organizers decided to reopen registration for just a short while.
Sign-ups will close for good by Friday morning or after 50 runners have registered.
There also are spots available for the Olympic Medical Center’s 10-kilometer and 5K races on the same day.
But those spots are going fast. Little recommends that anyone interested in running the shorter races should register immediately.
The eighth annual North Olympic Discovery Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, June 6.
