PORT ANGELES — Port Angeles High School graduate Allison Crumb tops the growing list of athletes who have recently signed letters of intent to play for the Peninsula College women’s basketball team in 2003-04.
In addition to Crumb, the Pirates have also signed Jenni Brozovick of Ferndale and Nina Kupu of Federal Way.
“We’re very excited about Allison Crumb joining our program,” said new head coach Julie Stewart. “Allison can play both guard positions. She sees the floor extremely well and also is a very effective 2- and 3-point shooter.”
Crumb — who helped the Roughriders to a Narrows League championship last year — averaged 10 points per game, was selected to the Narrows League second team and was invited to participate in the senior All-Star game.
