SPORTS: Pirates 4th seed

PORT ANGELES — The Peninsula College men’s basketball team is headed to the NWAACC Championship Tournament as the North Division No. 4 seed.

The Pirates finished the season with a 10-6 record in league games and went 13-12 overall.

Each division in the NWAACC sends the top four teams to the double elimination tournament.

Peninsula’s first post-season game is slated for March 6 in Kennewick, beginning at 4 p.m.

The Pirates will be matched against West Division champion Tacoma Community College.

The Titans finished the season 14-2 in league, and 22-3 overall.
