JOYCE — State Class 1B girls basketball power Neah Bay had few problems with an undermanned Crescent team in North Olympic League action Friday night.
The still perfect Red Devils rolled to a 60-16 victory to improve to 6-0 in league and 16-0 overall.
The Loggers had two players out, one with an ankle injury, and had only six suit up for the Red Devils.
“Six players against Neah Bay aren’t very good odds,” Crescent coach Brian Scott said.
The Red Devils held the Loggers to single digits the whole game, leading 21-4 after one and 35-10 at halftime.
Cherish Moss sparked Neah Bay with 14 points while her sister, Cierra Moss, swished in 10.
Hailey Greene, who also had two blocked shots, scored eight points and Rebecca Thompson had seven.
Cherish Moss also had seven steals and six rebounds for the game.
Sara Moore scored a team-high seven points for the Loggers.
Crescent now has a crucial North Olympic League game against Clallam Bay on Tuesday night.
The Loggers host the game that will determine the No. 2 playoff seed from league.
“That should be a good game,” Scott said.
“We lost by four and two points to them, but beat Clallam Bay by 12. It will be a good game.”

PORT TOWNSEND — The Knights spoiled the Redskins Senior Night in Friday’s Olympic League contest.
Bremerton ran out to a 31-15 halftime and 47-26 third-quarter leads on the way to the victory.
Port Townsend seniors Chelsea Whipple, Kiley Maag, Marie Karlsen, Christine Unrue, Kaile Phillips and Megan Gambill all played their final games in the Redskin gym Friday.
Maag led the Redskins with 12 points while junior Gabbi Hossack added 10.
Jewell Johnson and Codi Hallinan sank seven points each.

CHIMACUM — The Eagles of Tacoma held off the Cowboys in Nisqually League action Friday night.
“We had a huge problem with foul trouble in the game and our new system didn’t work quite as good [as it did against Orting],” Chimacum coach Brad Burlingame said.
The Cowboys were in the game most of the way, trailing just 17-12 after one and 28-26 at the break.
“The kids played great, and they played with a lot of enthusiasm,” Burlingame said.
The Cowboys had three players score in double figures with Mallori Cossell leading the way with 16 and Lauren Thacker sinking 12 and Kiersten Snyder scoring 10.
Cossell also earned five rebounds, five steals and two assists.
“Mallori had an outstanding game,” Burlingame said.

KINGSTON — The Olympic League-leading Buccaneers were a little too much for the youthful Wolves on Friday night.
Kingston led 16-2 after one and a dominating 22-2 third quarter sparked the blowout.

HOQUIAM — The Spartans stayed close with Hoquiam in the SWL-Evergreen Division game but just couldn’t get the upper hand Friday night.
Forks led 6-5 after one but Hoquiam took the lead for good at 16-9 at halftime.
Courtney Paul led the Spartans with seven points while Brandy Christiansen dropped in a game-high 10 points.
