SPORTS: Neah Bay picks up volleyball win; other prep action

NEAH BAY– Neah Bay picked up a non-league volleyball win in four games over Lake Quinault 18-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-22 on Saturday.

The Red Devils (2-1, 9-1) played well in the opening game but “just had some errors that made the difference,” according to Red Devils coach Chon Clayton.

Neah Bay rebounded after the first game to take three straight.

“The team focused well after that first one and really made the plays down the stretch in the fourth game,” Clayton said.

Rebecca Thompson led Neah Bay with eight kills, Stephanie Greene added four while Alisha Kallappa had eight serving aces.

Savannah Martin and Fallon Dulik chipped in with five and three aces respectively.
