Sports: Neah Bay loses in district playoff game

SEATTLE — The reining Class B state boys basketball champions delayed the celebration for the Neah Bay Red Devils in the Tri-District playoffs Tuesday night at Kings High School.

The Darrington Loggers, the best Class B team a year ago, were able to come back from seven points down late in the game to beat North Olympic League champion Neah Bay 45-43.

Neah Bay, 17-2, will play archrival Clallam Bay for the fourth time this season on Friday in a loser-out game at Shorecrest High School in Seattle.
