TENINO — The Forks volleyball team rallied from a 2-1 deficit for a 25-19, 18-25, 18-25, 25-19, 15-9 SWL-Evergreen Division victory on the road on Tuesday night.
“They stayed upbeat and started talking to each other,” Forks coach Jennifer Daman said of the team’s play during the fourth and fifth games.
Jillian Raymond had 21 assists, Paige Kennedy tallied 14 kills and made six blocks at the net and Hailey Horton added seven kills for the Spartans (5-4 in league, 5-5 overall).
Casey Williams added four kills and Cheryl Moore three kills for Forks.
The Spartans host Rochester on Thursday.
PORT ANGELES 3, KINGSTON 0
PORT ANGELES — The Roughriders swept past Kingston 25-17, 25-16, 25-10 to claim Tuesday’s Olympic League volleyball match.
“We had a little bit of a slow start but worked through it,” Port Angeles coach Christine Halberg said.
Kiah Jones led the team in kills with eight and chipped in nine digs and four aces for the Riders.
Port Angeles teammate Darian Foley had six blocks, five kills and four digs.
Taylyn Jeffers had four kills and four digs and Danielle Rutherford had five aces on serve.
Other team leaders were Emily Drake with 16 assists and Lauren Coventon with 11 digs.
Port Angeles (5-3, 8-3) visits Bremerton on Thursday.

SILVERDALE — Sequim wasn’t able to get untracked until it was too late in a 25-17, 25-20, 26-24 sweep at the hands of the Trojans.
“We didn’t start the game well,” Sequim coach Jennie Weber-Heilman said.
“We had some injuries and I guess it wasn’t in the cards tonight.”
Taylor Balkan was a perfect 14-of-14 on serve with one ace, two assists and seven digs for the Wolves.
Sarah Donahue contributed 10 digs and Bekah Kirsch added nine digs, four perfect passes and a kill.
Jessica Lauridsen added five kills and Sierra Clark was 11-for-12 on serves with four kills.
Lindsay Soha also served 15-for-16 for the Wolves (7-2, 8-3).
NO. 2 NEAH BAY 3, CLALLAM BAY 0
CLALLAM BAY –Neah Bay earned a North Olympic League win on the road against archrival Clallam Bay 25-22, 25-14, 25-19 on Tuesday.
“They are getting where we need them heading into the postseason,” Neah Bay head coach Chon Clayton said.
‘The girls really played well tonight, everyone, including the bench contributed.”
Neah Bay (3-0, 8-0) plays at Crescent on Thursday.
“It’s another good test for us,” Clayton said.
GIRLS SOCCER: TENINO 6, FORKS 0
TENINO — Forks held off the Beavers for 25 minutes before Tenino stepped up its offensive game up on Tuesday night.
“The girls played pretty well for the first part of the game until they started to pick apart our defense with crosses right before halftime,” Forks coach Todd McDowell said.
Mariah Dillard made 31 saves in goal for the Spartans (0-8, 1-10).
“She did well and our center-mids were a highlight,” McDowell added.
Forks hosts Ocosta on Thursday in the girls soccer homecoming game.

GIRLS SWIMMING: STEILACOOM 123, SEQUIM 48
SEQUIM — Steilacoom’s 30 swimmers sank the small Sequim swim team in a non-league meet on Tuesday.
Rachel Hughes won the 100-meter butterfly in one minute, 27.15 seconds and teammate Rachel Hardy won the 50 freestyle in 27.35 seconds.
Sequim hosts Olympic on Thursday.
