Roughriders camp set

The Port Angeles High School football coaching staff and Roughrider players are sponsoring their third annual summer football skills camp July 18-21.

Skills include blocking, tackling, throwing, catching, kicking, conditioning and basic football strategies.

The camp will be held on the Port Angeles High School fields west of the gym. Camp for current Roughrider players will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Camp for future Roughriders, ages 6-14, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

The registration fee for Future Riders is $40, which includes a 2017 camp T-shirt. The fee for Future Riders can be prorated if players can attend all four days. PAHS Booster Club members will be on site to register future Roughriders each day by 10 a.m. To avoid the registration line, camp registration forms are also available in the Port Angeles High School weight room from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday through Thursday, at the school district office, New Day Eatery and Fanaticus.
