PC summer hoops camp set for July 13-16

PORT ANGELES — The Peninsula College Kids Basketball Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon July 13-16.

The camp is for players ages 6 through 16.

Players should bring gym shoes, a water bottle and a basketball.

College coaches and athletes will instruct the camp.

The cost is $90 and registration is available at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3490055.

PA Football boosters

PORT ANGELES — Parents and guardians of Port Angeles High School football players are invited to attend the Football Booster Club meeting Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Port Angeles High School Student Center.

Attendees will help plan events for the upcoming season.

Helmet fundraiser

SEQUIM — The Sequim Football Boosters are looking to raise funds for new helmets this year.

The group is looking to purchase Vicis helmets, equipment that, according to the company, is “showing significant reduction in impact forces in NFL, college and youth football” leagues.

Donations to the booster club, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, are tax-deductible.
