PC hosting fall prep hoop league

PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College will host a fall high school boys basketball league for Forks, Neah Bay, Sequim and Port Angeles beginning Saturday.

Games will begin at 3 p.m. this Saturday and next in the Peninsula College gymnasium.

Each team will play two games a week. See the complete schedule at www.tinyurl.com/pdnPCFallLeague.

Admission is free, and the public is invited and encouraged to watch the games.

Wolves honored

BELLEVUE — Sequim High School graduates Hannah Hudson and Taylor Balkan were honored for their performances at a pair of NWAC crossover volleyball tournaments last weekend.

Hudson, who plays for Olympic College, was named to the Bellevue Crossover All-Tournament team for her role in helping the Rangers pick up the tourney crown with a five-set win against Blue Mountain.

Balkan was named to the Spokane Dig Pink Crossover All-Tournament team after helping lead Clackamas to a second-place finish.
