Crocs tune up

FEDERAL WAY — Grey Wolves Senior Softball Club tournament team the Crocs played in the Chip Cipriano/Norton Tournament last week.

The tournament is a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis.

The Crocs came up short in the win column, playing 1st American Title once and two games against Ruth Realty, one of the top teams in the state.

The Crocs had two all-stars, John White and Norm Forney, who each hit better than .750 over the three games.

The tournament was a chance to tune up and get ready for the Washington State Senior Games in Shelton on July 11-12, and then for the first time ever, in early October, the Crocs will head off to St. George, Utah, to compete in the largest Senior Softball Tournament in the Nation, the Huntsman Games.

The week-long tournament features over 300 softball teams and athletes from approximately two dozen countries attending and competing.
