SPORTS BRIEFS: BMX riders raising funds for Port Angeles Food Bank

Free passes to the YMCA; WIAA launching mental conditioning series

PORT ANGELES — The Lincoln Park BMX Track is raising funds for the Port Angeles Food Bank during the month of October.

For every race and practice held this month, the track will donate $1 per participating rider to the Food Bank.

If more than 50 riders participate in a session, the track will donate $2 per rider.

The three riders who collect the most food or money will receive a Fly Travel bag, a Leatt neck brace or a membership credit.

Every dollar raised will equal one pound of food for the Food Bank.

For more information, including practice and race registration, visit facebook.com/LincolnPark BMX.
