PORT ANGELES — Due to the increase of cases of COVID-19, the Jamestown S’Klallam run scheduled for Dec. 5 has been moved to an all-virtual event.
Run the Peninsula had planned for this to be a live event before the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in the region and the state.
Registration for the virtual 5K and 10K event is open. Participants will receive a race bib, fleece blanket and Jamestown Bridge medal. Virtual packages ship in one to three days.
The registration fee is $30. To register, people can go online at www.tinyurl.com/Jamestownrun.
Run the Peninsula manages a five-race series over the year. The 2021 season begins with the Elwha Bridge Run, tentatively set for February 2021.
