PREP TRACK AND FIELD: Forks athletes, relay team medal at state

YAKIMA — Two individual athletes and the Forks’ girls 4×400 relay team medaled at this weekend’s 2B state track and field meet at Eisenhower High School in Yakima.

The Spartans’ Reagan Dunn finished fifth in the girls javelin with a personal-best throw of 117 feet, 8 inches.

The Forks 4×400 girls relay team of Skye Hestand, Moli Luong, Elizabeth Morrison and Erika Williams finished seventh with a time 4 minutes, 24.01 seconds.

In addition, early in the 2B meet, Forks’ Gage Willenbrink finished fourth in the boys high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 10 inches.
