FORKS — On a night honoring nine graduating seniors, the Forks wrestlers beat 2A North Kitsap 50-21 in their last home dual.

“These seniors are a very talented group. When they leave, there will definitely be holes in our lineup next year,” said coach Bob Wheeler.

Winning their matches were:

• Keith Thompson, 145 pounds, pin.

• Hayden Baker, 152 pounds, pin.

• Hayden Queen, 160 pounds, pin.

• Brett Moody, 170 pounds, technical fall 15-0.

• Colby Demorest, 182 pounds, pin.

• Andres Santos-Delacruz, 120 pounds, 7-2 decision.

This was an interesting match because Santos-Delacruz beat a girl, Holly Beaudoin. She is a very good wrestler who was a runner-up in the state championship at the girls’ Mat Classic the past two years.

Luis Perez at 138 pounds, Eden Cisneros at 220 pounds and Luke Dahlgren at 285 pounds also won all their matches by forfeit.

Juan Pablo Flores Contreras lost a very close match at 106 pounds, taking his opponent to overtime, where he lost a 12-10 decision.

The Spartans will next wrestle at an Evergreen 1A dual on the road against Montesano on Thursday.
