PREP FOOTBALL: Port Townsend moves up in Associated Press poll; Neah Bay holds spot

Port Townsend moved up a spot in the latest Associated Press high school football poll, which were released Wednesday.

The undefeated Redhawks are now tied for seventh with Mount Baker in Class 1A. Port Townsend had held down the No. 8 spot for the past few weeks.

Neah Bay remains No. 2 in the Class 1B rankings, trailing Liberty Christian. The Red Devils received three first-place votes.

The Associated Press high school football poll is voted on by sports writers from throughout the state.
