KINGSTON — Port Angeles’ Daniel Cable had 198 yards rushing and three touchdowns running and receiving as the Roughriders beat Kingston on the road 31-6.
Forks also won 34-8 and East Jefferson won 41-13.
Cable also had 60 yards receiving for 258 yards from scrimmage. He scored two touchdowns on the ground and one on a reception.
Jaziel Livingston also had a touchdown and Josiah Long kicked a 32-yard field goal.
Coach Dustin Clark said the defense played great and only gave up a touchdown in the final minutes because the lights went out in Kingston and the game was delayed for 20 to 25 minutes in the fourth quarter.
“I think we’re confident we’re getting better in the last two games,” Clark said.
Parker Nickerson added 59 yards on the ground and passed for 90 yards without an interception. Blake Sohlberg ran for 35 yards and Livingston 24 as the team totaled 356 yards on the ground.
Beckett Jarnigan had 23 yards receiving.
Port Angeles (2-4) has another tough home game coming up this week, hosting 3A Bainbridge (2-4). The Riders have already hosted the No. 1 2A team in the state — North Kitsap — and a 4A power Kennedy Catholic. That game is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Forks 34, Raymond 8
RAYMOND — The Forks defense tallied eight interceptions to remain undefeated at 5-0, crushing Raymond on the road 34-8 on Friday.
Dalton Kilmer had three interceptions and Logan Olson two. Nate Dahlgren also scored three touchdowns.
“Logan and Dalton make a good feel really good,” said Spartans head coach Trevor Highfield.
“The guys digested the game plan … they’re great athletes,” Highfield said. “It was our best overall performance this year. I am very proud of our players and coaches and how we prepared, played, and responded.”
Ryan Rancourt also had an interception that he returned 10 yards for a touchdown, while Keaten Northcutt and Conner Demorest added INTs.
Highfield also said that Austin Graham and Matthew Wallerstedt were difference-makers on the defensive and offensive lines.
“They played a tough, hard nosed football game. We are very proud of their effort,” he said.
Highfield said Olson also played great on defense. He had one pick-six, but Highfield said it was his fault as the team ran a new play.
Highfield said the special teams also played well, handling onside kicks and returning punts.
The Spartans finally get a home game Friday. They have only had two home games and none since Sept. 24. Forks will host Morton-White Pass at 7 p.m. Friday for homecoming and senior night.

“They are a very physical team that have some really good size. They are coming off a big win versus South Bend,” Highfield said. “It’s exciting to be 5-0 and ranked in the top five in the state.”
