PREP FOOTBALL: Neah Bay, Crescent players honored on All-Northwest Football League Team

BELLINGHAM — Neah Bay’s Cameron Buzzell and Cole Svec have been voted All-Northwest Football League First Team selections on offense and defense by league coaches, headlining a long list of honorees from the North Olympic Peninsula.

Buzzell was picked as a wide receiver and defensive back.

Svec, a senior running back and linebacker, rushed 143 times for 1,125 yards and nine TDs. He led Neah Bay in tackles with 102.

Other first-team selections for the Red Devils included junior quarterback Rwehabura Munyagi Jr. and Kenrick Doherty Jr. made the first-team defense at defensive end for Neah Bay.

Offensive linemen Noah Rascon and Daniel Kilmer were voted to the second team for the Red Devils, while defensive end Ben Greene also made the second team.

Crescent senior Wyatt McNeece was a first-team pick at offensive guard. The Loggers’ Noah Leonard earned a first-team selection at linebacker and ball-hawking safety KC Spencer also made the first team.

McCabe Story was a second-team choice at running back for Crescent.
