PREP BASKETBALL: Sequim girls lose to Crosspoint Academy

BREMERTON — Sequim couldn’t find its scoring touch in a 33-27 loss to Crosspoint Academy in nonleague girls basketball action.

“We played our best game of the year, but we couldn’t make a shot,” Wolves coach Evan Still said after Monday’s game.

“We were 11 for 51 from the field.”

Sequim was held to 15 points through the first three quarters before exploding, relatively speaking, for 12 fourth-quarter points.

The Warriors weren’t much better, only netting 20 points before a 13-point fourth quarter.
