NEAH BAY — Four Neah Bay players scored in double figures as the hot-shooting Red Devils cut down Crescent 79-26 in North Olympic League boys basketball play.
Neah Bay connected on 36 of 70 shots (51.4 percent) for the game.
Rweha Munyagi shot 9 of 11 from the floor to score a game-high 18 points for Neah Bay. Munyagi also swiped eight steals.
Cameron Moore hit 8 of 11 shots and scored 17 points for the Red Devils.
Neah Bay’s Sean Bitegeko added 13 points and Kenrick Doherty Jr. scored 10 points with five assists and two steals.
Older brother Anthony Bitegeko hauled down 14 rebounds and scored eight points.
Crescent (0-2, 4-7) was led by eight points from KC Spencer.
The Loggers host Clallam Bay tonight.

SILVERDALE — Parker Browning scored 19 points and Cort Prose added 13 as the Spartans clipped the Eagles in a nonleague contest.
“It was a good game for us,” Forks coach Rick Gooding said.
“We tried to play as many guys as we could.”
Gooding was pleased that his team limited Klahowya to 12 second half points, despite playing with a big lead.
Forks was able to hold Eagles’ leading scorer John Hartford to just four points in the second half after an 18-point first half performance.
The Spartans (1-1, 9-4) visit Montesano (2-0, 8-5) tonight.

NEAH BAY — Twelve Red Devils scored in a North Olympic League win over the Loggers.
Vonte Aguirre led the way for Neah Bay with 11 points and six rebounds. Cei’J Gagnon scored six points and grabbed eight rebounds with two blocks and two steals for the Red Devils.
Hannah Lee and McKenzie Brannan each scored seven to lead Crescent.
Neah Bay (2-0, 8-2) hosts Chief Kitsap Academy tonight.
The Loggers host Clallam Bay tonight.

SILVERDALE — Led by 31 points combined by freshman Rian Peters (19) and Jayden Olson (12) the Spartans picked up their second win in as many nights with a nonleague road victory over the Eagles.
“Coming off that win with Hoquiam, we didn’t play particularly well. We played well enough to win, but if we want to play in the postseason we need a better effort,” Forks coach John DeMatties said.
“There just wasn’t a lot of energy. We were lethargic and our intensity was lacking, overall.”
DeMatties has enjoyed the play of Peters, Olson and fellow freshman Myah Rondeau this season.
“Our freshman are so coachable,” he said.
The Spartans (1-1, 3-8) visit Evergreen League power Montesano (2-0, 11-2) tonight.

Quilcene 45, Muckleshoot 22
AUBURN — The Rangers picked up their first SeaTac League win at Muckleshoot in five years Wednesday.
“This makes the win extra nice just for that reason,” Quilcene coach Briana Weller said.
Katie Love led all scorers with 16 points for the Rangers.
“Her offensive rebounding paid off and she was to convert on a lot of weakside put backs,” Weller said.
Post Gina Brown worked hard down low to score eight points for Quilcene and guard Allison Jones added six points while sitting out much of the second half due to illness.
Alexis Gray added five points and scrapped for some tough rebounds inside, according to Weller.
Quilcene (3-1, 8-3) visits unbeaten Tacoma Baptist (7-0, 13-0) on Friday. The two teams are tied for 10th in Class 1B in the first edition of the Associated Press state rankings.
