CHIMACUM — Despite only getting one hit, the East Jefferson baseball team gave defending 1A state champion Klahowya everything it could handle in a 5-4 extra-inning loss at Chimacum High School.

The Rivals got 14 strikeouts from pitcher Brody Moore, who went 6â…” innings and allowed just two hits and one earned run.
