PORT ANGELES — For the third game in a row, the Port Angeles boys basketball team ran wild in the final two quarters, this time sprinting past the Bremerton Knights in the final 16 minutes for a 74-51 victory Wednesday night.
Port Angeles outscored the Knights 44-27 in the second half, beating a team that upset Sequim just two days earlier and improving to 4-1 in league and 5-1 overall on the season.

JOYCE — The Loggers held off a late Bruins rally to claim their third win in four games Wednesday.
Joel Williams dominated the paint with 26 points and 14 rebounds, helping the Loggers jump out to a 47-30 lead after three quarters that eventually held up in the nonleague matchup.
Sequim 66, Klahowya 31
SEQUIM — The Wolves rebounded from their first loss of the season by routing the first-place Eagles (3-1, 3-5) in Olympic League play Wednesday night.
Corbin Webb scored 23 points and held Klahowya scoring threat Clark Rose scoreless as the Wolves moved to 4-1 in league and 5-1 overall.

KINGSTON — The Redskins scored just 10 first half points and never recovered in an Olympic League loss to the Buccaneers on Wednesday night.
All but one of the 12 Kingston players in uniform scored — four in double figures — while the Redskins struggled to find offense against the defending league champions.

Clallam Bay 26, Crescent 22
JOYCE — Both coaches busted out the zone and neither team was able to bring much offense in Wednesday night’s nonleague affair.
Crescent’s Sara Moore had a game-high 11 points and seven rebounds, but it was the more balanced scoring of the Bruins, led by Melissa Willis’ eight points, that led to a win.

PORT TOWNSEND — The Redskins ran into a red-hot Buccaneers team that claimed its fifth in a row to start the season Wednesday night.
Four girls scored nine points or more, with Amanda Carper and Maggie Snaza each netting 13, for the Olympic League-leading Bucs.

BREMERTON — The Knights ran past the Roughriders in the first half Wednesday night to claim an Olympic League victory.
Bremerton held Port Angeles to just two first-quarter points and eight in the first half as the Knights went ahead 23-8 going into the break and held on from there.

SILVERDALE — The Wolves fell in overtime to the Eagles in Wednesday night’s Olympic League matchup.
