OAK HARBOR — The North Olympic Peninsula is down to one playoff team after Friday night’s high school football action.

Top-ranked Neah Bay blasted Lopez Island 86-32 at Oak Harbor High School in the 1B district playoffs.

The win nets the Red Devils a berth to the state playoffs. They will have next week off and then play the No. 5 team from the District 7/9 tournament.

The Peninsula’s other playoff team, Port Townsend, suffered a 35-21 loss to the Blaine Borderites at Civic Field in Bellingham.

In a 1A crossover, Chimacum’s season ended Friday night with a 54-0 loss to Coupeville.

Sequim finished the season without a win after falling to Foster 27-13 on Thursday night.

Clallam Bay will close out its season with a 1B Northwest Football League crossover against Rainier Christian on Saturday night.
