Clallam Bay girls win on the road

COVINGTON — The Clallam Bay girls beat Rainier Christian 48-21 Saturday, led by 16 points and 11 steals from Mariah LaChester.

Atokena Abe added nine points for the Bruins (2-0), while Hannah Olson had six points and seven steals. Miriam Wonderly and Jennica Maines each added four points and seven steals.

Clallam Bay (2-0) next hosts Wishkah Valley at 4 p.m. The boys will play at 5:45 p.m.
