EVERGREEN 1A ALL-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: Forks’ Baysinger, Moody make first team

FORKS — Forks’ Cole Baysinger and Brett Moody made the first team of the Evergreen All-League Football team.

Baysinger, a running back, gained more than 1,000 yards for the Spartans this year. Moody was named to the all-league team as both a tight end on offense and as a defensive lineman on defense.

Making the honorable mention team was the Spartans’ Luke Dahlgren, both as an offensive lineman and as a defensive lineman. Baysinger also made honorable mention as a defensive back.

The league Most Valuable Player was Carson Klinger of Montesano, while Trevor Ridgway, also of Montesano, was the offensive MVP. Defensive MVP was Jared Wallace of Montesano and the Montesano coaches won coaching staff of the year.

Kicker — Naz Mazariegos, Hoquiam.

Defensive line — Seth Dierkop, Montesano; Tyrick Weyracuh, Tenino; Garrett Bradley, Hoquiam, Matt Brown, Hoquiam.

Linebackers — Ben Sowers, Montesano; Dakoyta Reninger, Montesano; Chewy Munro, Hoquiam; Payton Quintanilla, Hoquiam; Brady Cummings, Hoquiam; Niall Baxter, Elma.

Defensive Backs — Sam Winter, Montesano; Teegan Zillyett, Montesano; Cody Vollan, Elma; Jonah Doll, Hoquiam.

Punter — Francis Sweeney, Hoquaim.
