COLLEGE SOCCER: Peninsula Pirates ready to defend titles; send-off planned

TUKWILA — Peninsula College’s men’s and women’s soccer teams will defend their conference titles this week at the NWAACC Championships at the Starfire Sports Complex this weekend.

The women play Walla Walla at 1 p.m. Saturday in one semifinal, while the men also play Walla Walla in their semi, which is set for 6 p.m.

The championship matches will be played Sunday. The women will play 3 p.m. and the men at 5:30 p.m.

Pirate fans will gather for a send-off at the college this morning at 9 a.m. where the women’s and men’s teams will board the Black Pearl en route to Tukwila.
