PORT ANGELES — The Peninsula College soccer teams make their 2015 home debuts Saturday when they face North Idaho at Wally Sigmar Field.
The women play at noon and the men’s match begins at 2 p.m.
Peninsula College will celebrate Kickoff Day by treating fans to a free hot dog barbecue and a miniature soccer ball giveaway.
Kickoff Day is the first of many special events at Peninsula home games this season.
Community Day is Saturday, Sept. 19, when those 17 and younger who wear their youth or high school soccer jerseys will gain free admission for the entire family.
That match, against Skagit Valley, also includes a water bottle giveaway.
On Oct. 3, the Pirates will host a White-out Game. Peninsula College students will receive free white “Pirate Proud” T-shirts, while community fans will have the opportunity to buy them for $5.
Oct. 17 is Rally Day. Fans will receive free Pirate rally towels, while they last.
Finally, the year will conclude with Sophomore Day on Oct. 28, when Pirate sophomores will be honored in their final home regular season match.
Admission to Pirate home games is $4 for adults, $2 for seniors, veterans and youth age 13-17, and free to children 12 and younger.
Season passes for soccer will be available at the gate of all home games for $30 adults and $15 for seniors (55 and older), veterans and youth.
Fans also can purchase a Pirate Pass, which is good for admission to both soccer and basketball home games. The Pirate Pass is $80 for adults and $40 seniors, veterans and youth.
The Pirate Athletic Association also has a number of booster and sponsorship packages available to fans, and most of them come with season tickets.
