CAL RIPKEN: Eagles win 12U city championship

PORT ANGELES — The Eagles won the 12U Cal Ripken Port Angeles city championship with a 7-2 win Tuesday night over the Elks.

Parker Pavlak pitched a complete-game victory for the Eagles and Brayden Scott had three hits to help the Eagles’ offense. The Eagles were also led by Zach Debray, Felix Gonzales and Justice Wells. The Eagles’ Abe Brenkman was not able to attend the game but was a big contributor all season.

The Eagles have now won championships in back-to-back seasons.

The Elks were led by Ben Clemens, Levi Bourm, Josh Needham and Jeret Thrall. Clemens started on the mound for the Elks.
