BOYS BASKETBALL: Port Angeles’ Rogers voted all-league first team

Port Angeles senior post Lambros Rogers was voted All-Olympic League 2A first team by the league’s boys basketball coaches.

Rogers averaged 10.6 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.9 assists per game this year.

He is the first Port Angeles player to receive first-team honors since Hayden McCartney in 2012.

North Kitsap’s Cole Rabedeaux was voted league MVP.

Joining Rogers on the first team are Olympic’s Jumier Johnson and Jaiden Mosely, Bremerton’s Atyus Powell and Kingston’s Liam Young.

No area players made the second team.

Port Angeles junior trio Luke Angevine, Noah McGoff and Grayson Peet received honrable mention, as did two Sequim players: senior Jackson Oliver and sophomore Payton Glasser.
