BASEBALL, SOFTBALL: Roughriders rally with eight runs in the seventh; PA girls crush opponents

POULSBO — The Port Angeles Roughriders had been handled for six innings by North Kitsap pitchers, but then erupted for eight runs in the top of the seventh to shock the Vikings 9-4.

The Riders were down 4-1 going into the seventh. Dalton Brockett allowed just two hits in five innings and no earned runs. Noah Sorensen allowed no hits and struck out two in the sixth.

Then in the seventh, the Riders got to Sorenson.

Wyatt Hall picked up the victory on the mound, going 1 2/3 innings and giving up just one hit. Ty Bradow came in in the seventh to shut the door on the Vikings, allowing just a walk.
