ATHLETES OF THE WEEK:: Natalie and Madison Coffey, Quilcene softball

What a huge day for Quilcene sisters Natalie and Madison Coffey.

Playing in a doubleheader against Evergreen Lutheran on Thursday, Natalie Coffey had a home run in Game 1 and drove in four runs. Madison, meanwhile, went 3 for 4 and scored four runs.

In Game 2, Madison went 5 for 5 with two home runs, six RBIs and four runs scored. Natalie went 4 for 5 with a double and two RBIs.

Quilcene went on to win the two games by a combined score of 48-5.

So, combined in the doubleheader, the sisters went 14 for 17 with three home runs and 12 RBIs.

The Coffey sisters are a big reason while Quilcene is a power again in softball. The Rangers are 5-0 in the Sea-Tac 1B League and 8-3 overall.
