Chimacum’s Kyle Caldwell is having quite a season so far for the Port Townsend wrestling squad.

Caldwell won his 195-pound weight division at the Beaver Bash in Tenino this weekend.

Previously this season, Caldwell, a junior, went 4-0 at Port Angeles’ Battle Of The Axe, finished second at the North Mason Invitational and fourth at the massive Hammerhead Invitational in Bremerton.

Caldwell, a Chimacum student, wrestles for Port Townsend in a combined team. He will represent Chimacum once postseason begins.

With Dylan Tracer returning from injury, Tracer will be a powerhouse at 182 pounds and Caldwell a power at 195.

With several other talented middleweight wrestlers in Port Townsend, Caldwell is a huge contributor on a team that is going to make noise this season.
