Senior Kaidence Rigby had a spectacular final week to her career for the Forks softball team.

The Spartans, who qualified for the state 2B tournament and won a game at state, pounded the ball in three games, scoring 40 runs. Rigby was a big part of that explosion and was also a big part of the Spartans’ team that made it all the way to the championship game in 2023.

Rigby went 3-for-5 against Warden with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. In a 15-5 win over Okanogan, she was 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs scored and an RBI. In the Spartans’ final game at the state tourney, she finished 4-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and three RBIs.

In three games at state, Rigby went a combined 10-for-13 (.769) with five doubles, five RBIs and six runs scored. What a way to finish her high school career.
