Julian Carrick has had a pair of monster games for the Neah Bay Red Devils this season, none bigger than Neah Bay’s huge 40-30 win Friday over rival Lummi.
Lummi came in to that game unbeaten and ranked No. 2 in the state, but they were no match for Carrick and his Neah Bay teammates.
Carrick rushed 32 times for 271 yards and four touchdowns against the Blackhawks. He had touchdown runs of 1, 1, 50 and 66 yards. He also completed four passes for 49 yards and added another 101 yards returning kicks for a 421 all-purpose yards.
The huge win gives a young Neah Bay team the top seed heading into district football playoffs.
It was Carrick’s second massive game for the 4-2 Red Devils this season. In a 72-8 win over Darrington in early October, he had two touchdowns rushing, two touchdowns receiving and two touchdowns passing.
