Cedar Johnson

Clallam Bay’s Cedar Johnson had a huge game in the Bruins’ 1B Tri-District finale against Muckleshoot Tribal School. She hit five 3-pointers and scored 24 points to help the Bruins beat Muckleshoot 47-30, giving Clallam Bay the third-place trophy out of the Tri-District tournament.

The Bruins will be going to state regionals, even though they entered the Tri-District having to play a loser-out game in their opener. They went on to win three out of four in the Tri-District to move on to regionals.

Johnson also had 18 points in a tournament win over Tacoma Baptist.

The Bruins, 17-6 on the season, will next be playing the state regionals against Riverside Christian on Friday.
