Port Townsend wrestler Ally Bradley pulled off a rare feat this week and it helped her team win a meet against Klahowya.

Though Port Townsend has a girls’ squad, the team needed someone at 106 pounds in the league dual. Bradley wrestled with the boys’ team in a dual with Klahowya Thursday.

Bradley pinned a Klahowya boy to earn six points. That helped the Port Townsend boys tie Klahowya. Then, it turned out that multiple near falls by Bradley became the tiebreaker, earning Port Townsend another point to win 40-39.

The win put the Redhawks at 2-0 in the Olympic 1A standings and 2-0 in the Nisqually-Olympic 1A.

Not to be outdone, Bradley won two matches at the massive Hammerhead Invitational in Bremerton, coming in fifth place at 110 pounds. This meet features all kinds of 3A and 4A schools.
