Sequim Little League plans new season

SEQUIM — Registration for the Sequim Little League season opens Monday at www.sequimlittle league.com.

Returning players from 2020 can attend a drive-through jersey pick-up event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Sequim Little League fields, 124 W. Silberhorn Road.

Coaching gear also can be returned at this time.

Mandatory forms, including a concussion protocol and medical release forms, will also be available. The forms also are available at the league’s website.

Fundraiser set

Sequim Little League also is holding a Valentine’s Day fundraiser.

Bouquets of 12-stemmed red, pink or white roses with vase and bow are $30. Orders of fudge from We Do Fudge in Carlsborg are $7, and flavors include chocolate, mint chocolate, peanut butter chocolate and caramel sea salt.

Payment can be made through Venmo to @Brandelle-Delph or via Apple Pay.

Pick up will run from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 13, and cash or check payments will be accepted in person.

Romero single

SEQUIM — Sequim’s Danny Romero recently recorded a hole-in-one while playing a round of golf at The Cedars at Dungeness.

Romero aced the 132-yard par-3 eighth hole on Monday using his pitching wedge and a TaylorMade ball.
