PA Swim Club record boards back up at pool

PORT ANGELES — The records of the Port Angeles Swim Club (PASC) are hanging on the walls of the Shore Aquatic Center again thanks to donations by Ruddell Auto and First Fed Community Bank.

New record boards replace the originals, displaying the accomplishments of swimmers throughout the long history of the club.

The boards will serve as motivation for the next generation of PASC swimmers with a few new additions.

Thomas Jones (14-15 boys, 500-yard freestyle), Miles Van Denburg (12-13 boys, 500 free), JB Vanderheiden (11-12 boys, 1,000 free) and Almaz Faskhutdinov (17-18 boys, 50 free) are new record-breaking swimmers whose names will be added to the record boards.
