CHENEY — Forks standout Luke Dahlgren has made the Big Sky Conference’s All-Big Sky Academic Team.

Dahlgren is a redshirt freshman offensive lineman for the Eastern Washington Eagles football team.

The 2019 Forks graduate earned a 3.38 grade-point average and is listed as an interdisciplinary studies major.

To make the team, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded a 3.2 GPA, be on an active roster and completed at least one academic term at their current Big Sky school.

Dahlgren saw time in all seven games during the Eagles’ COVID-abbreviated spring season this year, helping block for an Eastern Washington offensive attack which finished third in the Football Championship Series in total offense with an average of 524.9 yards per game after entering the postseason leading FCS.

The Eagles also were fourth nationally in passing (367.3) and eighth in scoring offense (37.7).
