Jefferson County fall youth soccer registration open through Aug. 3

Everton Soccer School back for Sequim camp

SEQUIM — Everton Soccer School will hold a soccer camp for Sequim Junior Soccer players ages 7-14.

The camp will be held at the Haller Playfields, 500 N. Blake Ave., from 9 a.m. to noon July 29 through Aug. 2.

The cost is $205 per camper.

Families interested in hosting Everton coaches for the week will receive a free player registration.

Boys volleyball

PORT ANGELES — A boys volleyball camp for players entering grades seven through 12 will be held Aug. 20-22.

The camp will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the YMCA of Port Angeles, 302 S. Francis St.

Momentum One Volleyball Academy athletes will instruct the camp.

Cost is $50 for members, $60 for non-members.

BMX Ladies Nights

PORT ANGELES — Lincoln Park BMX Track will hold a series of Wednesday evening Ladies Nites at the track beginning Wednesday.

The Ladies Nites will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, again July 31, Aug. 14 and Aug. 28.

The events are free with a one-day USABMX membership or a current USABMX membership.

Sponsored by Soroptimist International of Port Angeles, the evenings are open to all ages.

JeffCo registration

PORT TOWNSEND — Registration for Jefferson County Parks and Recreation’s fall coed soccer leagues is open through Aug. 3.

Practices will begin in mid-August. League games will be played on Sundays starting at 1 p.m. at H.J. Carroll Park beginning Sept. 8 and running through the end of October.

Every team will play one game on a Wednesday evening under the lights at Memorial Field.

Age groups are pre-Kinder, first and second, third and fourth, and fifth through seventh.

Early bird registration is $65 through July 19 and $70 from July 20 through Aug. 3.

The fee includes a T-shirt, game equipment, field prep and maintenance and referees for grades three and up.

Coaches are needed.

A volunteer coaches’ meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Jefferson County Rec Center, 620 Tyler St.
