PORT ANGELES — Wrestling practice and a get-together for wrestlers 7 years old and up will begin at Port Angeles High School on Monday, June 25.
Practice will go on for two weeks in preparation for the Ilwaco team camp July 6-8. The Ilwaco camp is open to all seventh graders and up.
Ilwaco is a chance to bond with fellow high school wrestlers and meet coaches, said head high school wrestling coach Rob Gale. The wrestling club will pick up the camp tab. The only cost will be a $35 meal card and play money. This will be the ninth season Olympic Peninsula kids are going to the camp.

BMX new rider clinic
PORT ANGELES — A free new rider clinic is slated at the Lincoln Park BMX track on Saturday.
Participants must be able to ride a peddle bike and must have a helmet, long sleeves and long pants. This is a free clinic for beginners only.
The track will have a limited number of bikes and helmet of various sizes that they will be available to use, on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you bring your own bike, please make sure the kickstands and pegs are removed. Sign ups will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. and the clinic will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. If you have any questions please contact Lincolnparkbmx@gmail.com.
Also, to celebrate Olympic Day, there will be racing after 4 p.m. Signups from from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
