PORT ANGELES — White Crane Martial Arts held its annual belt test for black belt candidates last week at the school’s dojang in downtown Port Angeles.
Camryn Waggoner is the school’s newest black belt. Current black belts who advanced to higher degrees include Andrew Hass to second dan, Daniel Beauvais to second dan, Tara Coffin to third dan and Craig Logue to third dan.

Logue teaches the Kajukenbo classes at the school and Coffin helps with the traditional International Taekwondo Federation-type class. Hass and Beauvais work with the Kukkiwon Olympic-style classes.
Twenty-five students were promoted by White Crane president Grandmaster Robert Nicholls, who is also vice president of the World Taekwondo Council and a 9th dan.
The black belt tests concluded the summer quarter. The White Crane fall quarter began Monday.
