PORT TOWNSEND — Online registration for the Jefferson Healthcare Rhody Run Redux ends at 11:59 p.m. today, but there will continue to be in-person registration the day before and the day of the race Sunday.
There has been a big response to the return of the race and there are limited shirt sizes available for late registrants.
The online cost is $45. People can register online at www.tinyurl.com/RhodyRunRegister. Kids younger than 5 can register for free.
There will be on-site registration and packet pickup at the art building at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds at 4907 Landes Street, Port Townsend, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Sunday.
Volunteers in orange vests will direct motorists to parking. There is limited overflow parking at Blue Heron Middle School and people are asked not to park on roadways or side streets.
The 10K race begins at 9 a.m. and the 5K begins at 9:15 a.m. The course will be closed at noon.
The race is returning with new USATF-certified courses.
NODM needs volunteers
PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Marathon Association and Peninsula Trails Coalition are looking for at least 12 more volunteers for the June 5 North Olympic Discovery Marathon.
The PTC has managed the start line every year at 7 Cedars Resort in Blyn. Twenty-six volunteers are needed and so far the PTC has 14 commitments.
Time is from 5:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Volunteers get a T-shirt. Anyone who is interested should contact Jeff Bohman at 360-477-8881.
PAMA is also looking for additional volunteers before the event and the day of the event.

North Blake Avenue and East Fir, 7:55 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Hendrickson Road and North Fifth Avenue help officer, 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
East Runnion Road and Sawmill Road, 8:20 a.m. to 9:55 a.m.
Olympic Discovery Trail and Heath Road (Two people needed), 8:20 a.m. to 9:55 a.m.
Olympic Discovery Trail and Carlsborg Road help sheriff, 8:25 a.m. to 10:05 a.m.
Olympic Discovery Trail and Kitchen-Dick Road help sheriff, 8:30 a.m. to 10:25 a.m.
Barr Road, heading south and Olympic Discovery Trail help sheriff, 8:25 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. Buchanan Drive and race turnaround, 9 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.

Forks soccer all-league
FORKS — Forks midfielder Ethan Bello and defender Juan Pablo Flores-Contreras made the Evergreen 1A/2B League all-league team this week.
Making the second team was Spartans midfielder Hector Dominguez and Arturo Dominguez-Gomez.
Named to the honorable mention team was the Spartans’ Jesus Garcia Dominguez.
Elma’s Cason Seaberg was named the league’s MVP and offensive player of the year. The defensive player of the year was Montesano’s Cole Eckerson and the goalkeeper of the year was Elma’s Andy Salvatierra.
Carson Seaberg of Elma and Fidel Sanchez of Montesano were named the co-coaches of the year.
